About Andrea

Since 2005, when Andrea went to Sri Lanka after the Tsunami, she has been producing short-films which highlight the historical impact of the textile industry on skilled craft workers, both past and present. These films have led to bringing together a think tank on trading today.

Installations

Since 2001, Andrea has created installations of her costumes to be displayed at museums and heritage sites across the country. These include St James’ Palace, the Jane Austen Centre, Haddon Hall, Fenton house, Ham House, Wells and Mendip Museum, 16 New Street in Jersey, and Whitchurch Mill.

PINK FLOYD: Their mortal remains

Victoria and Albert Museum, London (2017)

It was in the 1980’s that Andrea began working with Storm Thorgerson. Both Mark Fisher, the founder of Stufish, and Storm’s heath rapidly declined, leaving Aubrey Powell (co-founder with Storm Thorgerson of album cover design company Hipgnosis) to produce the exhibition for the V&A on his own.

Please have a look at the V&A's website to see more about this amazing exhibition.  https://www.vam.ac.uk/articles/inside-the-pink-floyd-their-mortal-remains-exhibition
